Discord

Right-click anyone's message → Apps → Just prompt it, and the bot tags them with a link. Or type /jfpi.

Add to Discord →

Chrome

Highlight a question on any page (Slack in the browser, Facebook, Gmail), right-click and pick "Just f*cking prompt it". The link is made and copied for you.

Download for Chrome →

  1. Unzip the file.
  2. Open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode.
  3. Load unpacked and pick the folder. Works in Edge and Brave too.

Windows

Press Ctrl+Alt+J anywhere, type what they asked, hit Enter. The link is made and copied, with the preview they'll see in the chat. Tab changes the tone.

Download for Windows →

winget install JFPI.JFPIBar

Not signed yet, so Windows may say "Windows protected your PC": click More info → Run anyway. Installing with winget skips that. It lives in the tray; right-click it to start it with Windows.

Add to your AI

Let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor make the link for you. The AI literally rolls its eyes. Ask it: "Make a JFPI link for my coworker. They asked me how to exit vim."

Claude (web, desktop, mobile) · Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and paste:

https://www.justfuckingprompt.it/mcp

Claude Code · In your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http jfpi https://www.justfuckingprompt.it/mcp

ChatGPT · With developer mode on: Settings → Apps → Create, no authentication, and paste:

https://www.justfuckingprompt.it/mcp

Cursor · In ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

{ "mcpServers": { "jfpi": { "url": "https://www.justfuckingprompt.it/mcp" } } }

VS Code · In your terminal:

code --add-mcp '{"name":"jfpi","type":"http","url":"https://www.justfuckingprompt.it/mcp"}'

Anything else (runs locally) · As a command (stdio):

npx -y jfpi-mcp

It only makes links when you ask for one, for someone else. It never roasts you. No login; questions are handled like every other JFPI link (see Privacy).

Terminal

jfpi "how do I exit vim" prints the link and copies it. Pick a tone with --tone.

npm (any OS)

npx jfpi-cli "how do I exit vim"

Thanks for the question! Before we dig in, it looks like this one has an answer an AI could give you right away, so I asked for you: https://justfuckingprompt.it/l/k7Fp2xQ?via=github If that doesn't solve it, just reply here with what you tried. 🙂

tone: rude · A fed-up AI that answers anyway. Mild swearing.

You could have asked an AI this in about three seconds. So I did it for you: https://justfuckingprompt.it/l/k7Fp2xQ?via=github Still stuck after reading it? Then tell us what you tried, and we'll talk.

tone: brutal · No filter. For projects with a sense of humour.

Just F*cking Prompt It: https://justfuckingprompt.it/l/k7Fp2xQ?via=github The answer was one prompt away. Come back when you've tried it, with what happened.
